There is no end in sight.

Well, it is day 3 and I am level 15. I managed to get myself to Jeuno without getting raped by tigers, trees, goblins, orcs, rams, and everything else that would naturally trample me if I hadn’t had sneak or invis on.  I had a nice little party that took me from 10 to 14, and then another after a break that took me to 15. After working all day, I am not too interested in playing, however I am determined to get to level 18 so I can start looking like a normal player, and have a freaking subjob. I guarantee nobody is inviting me right now because I lack one Harsh…cruel wretches.

Well my popcorn is done, I have a book to read, and my speakers on high. Lets hope I get to 18, or at least 16 so my time waiting wasn’t all for nothing!

Deleveled back to level 1.

It seems FFXI has found me once again, I tried staying hidden away from the temptress of a game, but $10 for the whole deal was too hard to resist. Why am I level 1 again you say? Starting from scratch? Iraphine got hacked whilst I was inactive, whomever hacked her also got her banned for credit card fraud, with no way to restore her.

Over  6 years of hard work gone to waste.

So here I am, starting over from the beginning and I will record as much as I can here for the few of you out there who give a damn Started yesterday, got to level 10, and today begins the dunes, as a lowbie red mage.

Just a quickie, since you all bug me to update this thing! (Murca!)

I was appointed a new position in my HNM linkshell The Dark Guys, as a sackholder. There were none for EST which meant that timezone went unguided, so I think it was a good idea to give out some new sacks, them being myself and Oreth. I planned some EST sky/sea runs, since a lot of our GMT runs are way too early for most of us, which should help gear a lot of our members.

These dropped from one of our Aspids, was bummed out to see no Dalmatica, but maybe next time. We also got dfeeted, I think those dropped into the void of nothingness.

Leveling Warrior now, its 55 (300 til 56) which is a lot of fun. My great axe is super gimp though, I need to fix that soon before I get laughed at. Rampage is fun!! Orgoth and I did our Hagun ENM and got nothing, again =.= Now we are going to do it with Oreth! We are going to try and do Brothers ENM too since we will have 3 people and it’s more fun with friends.

I think that’s it, all I have to say is: FROCE stop playing that GAY FPS.

Interesting week/weekend! Monday morning, bleh and at work. I have two projects due here, one was due a week ago, totally not my fault though!

Anyway, the fun stuff. TDG still doing what we do best, killing stuff. Yes you fuck faces, we kill stuff. Ahhh killing stuff. Stuff stuffy stuff stuff. I got my Zenith Pumps the other day, I was like Yippie! A long time LS member Aluminumfoil finally got his much deserved Ridill, I swear it was like my birthday when he got it.

I was shocked to hear I am up for a Dalmatica, like really? Can’t even believe it, to think of all the effort and time I put into Silent Dawn, and never coming close to getting a Kbody (lol, was good at the time!) and that was after 2 years, and me being in TDG over 2 months and up for a Dalmy? My jaw was on my keyboard. I am overwhelmed. Orgoth my love is also up for a Ridill, he was on that list in Silent Dawn even longer then me, and up for it for the same duration, not even coming close to getting one. He is shitting bricks. Yes yes.

So much <3 to my LS, for truly rewarding members who show their effort, and prove they are loyal, dedicated losers I MEAN- members. S’ok, I know i’m a nerd, and if your actually reading this, so are you!

King Behemoth

Only one real mishap this weekend, and it cost us a King Behemoth. People say we wiped, but I know we didn’t since I was actually you know, THERE? Well, we happened to have no tanks at camp, a tank we thought was there turned out to be AFK, so I was told to come RDM, no big deal. Another member was told to come PLD, and was heading over, but window was getting a little close. I get there on RDM, and no tanks are there. Eeeeek. We ask a member already there to go change to PLD, asap. Of course KB decides to pop first window, and we claim. I being a cpants RDM try to get hate to kite, but other memebrs are also doing the same, so hate is everywhere, KB runnin left and right, was madness.

So, KB hits me a few (yeah I know how to kite tyvm, but was on RDM and trying to stop and cast to get hate, and had to stop, turn, run after it, get hate, etc etc), and I stopped to cure. Another LS member got hate, and got knocked back? Idk I think they disengaged and caused KB to go unclaimed, thats the only thing I can think of, there wasn’t enough hate generated on it.

We lost it to TG, and I mean I understand once it is yellow it’s fair game, and if there was a LS i’d like to lose a HNM to, it would be TG. They are the only LS to never give us grief, or bad mouth us, or put us down (I think? I never hear anything anyway). So if any of you TG peeps read this (which I doubt), thanks for not giving us a hard time, and understanding that we are actually people too, and just because we are in a different LS, there is no reason we can’t get along.

Glad I cleared that KB thing up, since people obviously don’t know a wipe from a loss.

Einherjar

Einherjar wen’t well yesterday, I don’t think a single death, no time warning, and the win. We are cleared for Odin now I beleive! It is on Wednesday though… I am so bummed. I am going to try to make it… but don’t know if I can

Dynamis

I left my Dynamis shell, or was removed? Orgoth and I had perfect attendance for dynamis, and a TDG ls member needed our help with Tiamat, being too low-maned to take it. We thought we had the OK to leave dynamis 1 hour into the run to help, not thinking there would be much concequence since we were both on DD jobs and there was about 50 people in the zone (ok maybe 40, I can’t remember). I get a /tell from the LS leader saying me leaving early will affect my lotting rights for icelands.

Ok…? I think that is kinda bullshit but what can I do, I only came to every Dynamis on time and stayed late for their late runs past 12am (I work at 6am) with only leaving early a couple of times due to exhaustion. Did that decrease my lotting rights too? idk.

We both were removed from the roster list too on their forum, which I was confused. Orgoth kinda had a tiff with the leader, telling him to shove his pearl up his ass… so I can understand why he’d be removed. But me? Wtf did I do seriously? Well I PM’d the leader (being at work n stuff) asking why I was removed, and asked if I was still welcome etc. I got a pretty meh response, and decided I would still go with them. That night when I got home I thought about it, do I really want to keep going with people like that? I have been shafted with Dynamis so many fucking times, I am sick of it. I have busted my ass time and time again in Dynamis shells, to have them break, or screw me  over, so I said fuck it.

I sent the leader a /tell saying I wouldn’t be joining them anymore, since I didn’t want to make anyone in the LS feel uncomfortable with my preasense, I doubt he gave a shit anyway, judging by his response.

So now I am Dynashell-less, and idk if I will even bother doing it again, building up the attendance all over again… starting from the bottom… so tired of it.

Dragoon…?

LOL well, I have so much gear I could use on DRG from SAM… why not level it? I always wanted to level the job anyway, I think it would be fun. I went from 10-18 in a couple of days, and now it is 21. Hopefully I will level a little bit more tonight, if there is no one to help, and no events to do.

Ace’s Helm….Mine!

Ahh, words cannot express, how happy I am to have obtained this awesome helm. My samurai has always felt like it was missing something, and I think this was it. I camped its holder KV for quite a few nights, one night I camped it many hours due to not knowing if it popped or not. I even missed work yesterday (I worked from home tho!) just to be sure I was there to claim/obtain it, and everyone was very supportive, and the LS ran out there to kill KV asap. SO much <3!

My blue mage has kinda been at a standstill, stuck at 1k til 45. I have too many other things to work on when I have time to play, such as meriting, doing campaign, LS events, limbus, dynamis, einherjar, the list never ends! I plan to pickup where I left off soon with Orgoth’s warrior.

Org now works on Wednesdays, so my perfect in the middle of the week day to take off to work from home is over, and now I take tuesday off. I can’t go to einherjar now on wednesdays, which really sucks… I quite like einherjar.  It lasts 30 mins, quick, and usually painless and you yield points towards awesome items, and sometimes even get an abjuration in the chest at the end. Woo! I hope this Wednesday working crap ends soon.

Well it’s back to work, I can’t wait for the day to end so I can go home!  TGIF, and happy weekend!

Hard work really does pay off!

I have been in TDG’s for almost 2 months now, with coming online to FFXI almost every day for that duration, to try and camp mobs, do events, or help out where I can (while doing my own goals as well). They have really gone above and beyond my expectations. I feel like I have been in the shell forever, the people in it are awesome, I can’t think of a better shell to dedicate my time to.

The rewards keep pouring in, yesterday I was rewarded with this!

Shiny & New!

A lovely piece for my RDM until I am lucky enough to earn a Dalmatica, at that time I will return this gift back to the LS for another member to use. I put this on when I am idle, to gain that extra tick of MP. I had to co-lot with another LS member, I won with a 180-something lot, I really figured the other guy would have won, I was suprised!

Me being allowed to  lot was actually quite a suprise, since Dark Ixion has been way out of my timezone for the past… month and a half, I haven’t been able to camp it =( I have to work 4 days a week with 1 day (Wed) working from home, so I can’t be on at 3am EST camping the pony. I try really hard to make up for it in other events, and I think the LS leaders see that

Pixie Earring, Adaman Legs ( I think?) and Tongue. A Cmask or Dring would have been nice! We had to cancel Einherjar due to all these king windows being around our entry time, I think they are doing it today (While I am stuck at work -.-) so I will miss the clear for Odin =( Sad days.

Dynamis

Tonight is Dynamis Windy! I haven’t done it in a long time. I will comment Summoner, or maybe Ninja? I really don’t absolutely want a specific piece, and when you need so much, its hard to choose. I think I will go with SMN since I use it more often then my NIN.

BLU

My Blue Mage is now level 43. I am behind on some spells, so I will probably try and get them after work tonight before Dynamis. I haven’t been on my NIN for a long time, even with the new update, I think I will test it out tonight as well!

Oh awesome weekend!

This weekend rewarded me with some awesome gifts! In the game of course. Our Einherjar run Sunday wen’t well, we passed our Tier 1, was super easy, just elementals and then the Malboro NM. I had enough points to get… this!

1/4 for this fight. I did it with my LS who was kind enough to help. The setup was: PLD, RNGx3, RDM/DRK, and WHM. Only one death (Me ; but the fight went very smoothly. RNG’s would WS the thrall’s the crystal spawned, we’d sleep whoever got charmed, and made sure to fire off our 2 hours at the start due to the NM disabling them so early. also the RDM stunned the Ga’s, not one went through which is important.

I added the Enmity +5 and Fast Cast +5 augments of course, now my PLD is nearing completion

Blue Mage

My BLU leveling has been going well. I got my AF weapon which is pretty nice, after attaining level 40. I need to get the 40 spells still, but that won’t be too hard. I think I will really like BLU. I hope I can get some free-lot BLU af from Dynamis, this will further fuel my desire to finish the job.

Blue Mage!

Yes yes. When I receive gear, me being the person I am, will try to level the jobs that can use it. For example, when I had RNG to 75 and received a Hope Torque, I decided to level NIN from 37-75 to make full use of the rare item. Since i have 3/5 homam (Hands, Head, Legs, hopefully feet soon), as well as a pool of gear to throw on, I think BLU sounds like an ideal choice. It was idle at 33, and is already 37, almost 38 over the past couple parties.

I will be sure to keep you all informed on this new job growth process. Oh, I need to get some new spells, I seem to have forgotten Wild Carrot… or it just wasn’t out yet at the time (oops?), so that is my goal tonight!

Sky Sky Sky

I really don’t need anything from sky anymore, with the exception of Genbu’s Shield, and formerly, a Shura Kabuto for my SAM and or NIN. I was lucky enough to obtain one the other day! Thanks TDG. We also got S Kote, which went freelot. Our Kirin didn’t drop a damn thing but a cloth or two.. cheap bastard.

Aha! I claimed this turtle with flash the other day, I was quite suprised. I don’t normally claim anything, get either locked out, mob is spawned purple (to me), or too far away, but this time I was in just the right spot, and cast at just the right time. We got a Dalmatica and Egg drop, so pretty nice. That was our second Dalmatica drop in one day, for Nidhogg was kind to use earlier and dropped one too! But! He also dropped an Ebody to everyone’s enjoyment.

We have done well with keeping up with Sandworm, and  our loot experiences have been much better lately. We still maintain Dark Ixion regularly, it is in GMT times however, and my butt is in bed waiting for my alarm to go off at 6am when LS is camping him. Oh well, I do what I can =)

Red Mage

I am really liking my Red Mage. I want to do all that I can to improve it, and that includes getting me the merits and gear I require. As of now, the only notable gear I have is cpants, zmitts, loq. earring, and 1/2 to upgrade my warlocks chapeau =( So for now my RDM looks pretty RMT, but I plan to farm to get some gil for much needed upgrades such as:

Mahatma Feet
Prism Cape (NQ atm ;()
Devotee’s Mitts +1
Serket Ring
Enfeebling Torque (Spider Torque atm ;()

+ More I can probably think of later.

/sigh Long way to go, but hopefully I will start to see some good payouts from my LS when DI is in a better time, and I can actually camp it, same goes for everything else! =)

I forgot some stuff. !

Omigosh how could I forget, I got Askar Body! My very first piece of Askar, I am a happy hume. Umm Umm Oh.

2x Ridill drops in a row for our shell, making us even more l33t. Faffy is being so generous! We also have a lot of Aegishjalmr drops as well, purple helms for everyone! Orgoth got a Hecatomb Cap for his THF, which he was overly excited about. I also forgot to metion in my previous entry that he also got a Love Torque for his THF as well, and we finally got him his Swift Belt!

Our shell did a Tiamat Tuesday night, which was a bit sloppy, but we defeated him in the end. I think we got a talon for our efforts, and that’s about it. I also de-leveled about 2-3 times on SMN while doing Tia, and even lost my level in Limbus yesterday, had to do a Campaign to get it back ._.

Our shell leader got himself a Hauteclaire finally, after waiting a very long time, Congrats! TDG does a lot of events while I am sleeping, and sadly that includes Dark Ixion and early morning sky/sea, so I wasn’t there when Khimaira popped, but am glad we got a kill

I think that is all, but who knows… my memory fails.
